General Description: Jungle-like terrain. Few mountain ranges, many rainforest areas and some major deserts. The sand comes in three main colors: green, white, tan. There are few primates, mostly small tree dwellers. A great number of reptiles and birds.

Quartermunday Physical Description: Carbon-based, vertebrate, mammalian biped. Slightly flattened noses, sharp eye teeth, leonine in appearance. Their feet are slightly rounded and they tend to walk on the balls of their feet with heels slightly uplifted as though ready to run.

Epidermis/Exoskeleton:
Tan to golden brown fur.
Outer Growth: Lightly covered with a very short coat golden colored fur, cranial hair is mane-like hair, thick, slightly wavy. Males may have facial "whiskers" that they wear as goatees and mustaches.

Digits: 4 fingers/toes on each hand/foot (including opposable thumbs on hands.

Behaviour: Quartermunday are fairly secretive; unwilling to give up an advantage especially in regards to technology. They are very bright and eager to learn from others, but not terribly willing to reciprocate. They adore races and competition, they are fascinated by speed. They are by nature aggressive, but have curbed this tendency through extensive training in courtly manners and Quartermunday martial arts.

Special Attributes: They are very strong, and very fast. They have excellent vision and a superb sense of smell. They can activate their adrenal glands at will, causing bursts of strength and speed. They have excellent recuperative abilities and seldom stay ill or injured for long. They are particularly adept at traversing through jungle type terrain.

Government: The Quartermunday have a Constitutional Monarchy. The ruler has complete executive authority, though the lawmaking power lies with the elected Congress. The same family has held the throne for 9 centuries. The Judiciary is a separate branch and is the only governmental authority that has the power to judge against an executive decision and force it to be rescinded.

Religions/Beliefs: The Quartermunday believe that a supreme entity has granted the royal family the power and wisdom to rule. However, they do not really have a system of worship. They believe that the entity, known as Trougott, stays out of the everyday lives of his creations, having set them in motion, they are now on their own to do with their lives as they see fit. The only influence from Trougott that they recognise is giving the royals the strength to rule wisely, if the royals act out of accordances with the will of Truogott, another will be endowed with the strength to take over the throne.

Society/Culture: They adore races and competition; they are fascinated by speed. Participation in competitive sports is the most popular form of entertainment. They promote the arts and maintain museums. They are consumately polite, regarding manners as a sign of good breeding. They are tolerant and bemused at other specie's attempts to emulate their rules of ettiquette during diplomatic efforts. In all, Quartermunday tend to be very open to other cultures, as long as they are not pressed to divulge technological or defense secrets. Extended families tend to live together in Community Lodges. Children are raised in a communal effort. The Elders are revered for their wisdom. Individualism is encouraged, but a place is always held open in the lodge for absent family members.
