General Description: There are very few arid places on Il'unda. About 2/3's of the world is covered with water and the land is covered with lush vegetation ranging from tropical rain forests to temperate forests with some areas of grasslands.

Il'undel Physical Description: Carbon-based, vertebrate, mammalian biped. Very slight and slim builds. Generally, they have arched brows and almond shaped eyes.

Epidermis/Exoskeleton: Skin - white, nearly translucent.
Outer Growth: White hair (mainly cranial).

Behaviour: The Il'undel are a pacifistic race. They will not enter into conflicts unless provoked to the extreme. They make excellent mediators. They excel in medicine and have made excellent advances in medical research.

Special Attributes: They have very highly advanced psionic abilities and are able to communicate telepathically with most races. Their psionic abilities include, telepathy, telekenesis and, in rare cases, premonitions of future events.

Government: Il'und is governed by a council of elders chosen from each of the 17 provinces. The elders make decisions on a planet wide scale, but each province is governed by their own council made up of elected officials.

Religions/Beliefs: The Il'undian belief system revolves around a pantheon of deities each of which embodies a value of community (respect, leadership, caring, responsibility, etc.)

Society/Culture: The love of community and mutual dependence is paramount to the Il'undel and how one fits into the community is given more importance even to individual freedom. Family is very important to the Il'undel. Children are considered their number one asset.
